Believe it or not, this photo was taken only 8 years ago. It was shot for a vintage fashion story titled Birth Of The Cool (with a nod to Miles Davis' 1957 album of the same name) which I wrote and photographed for Men's File Magazine. As you can see by the period correct Hobie balsa wood D-fin board, 1948 Dodge Woodie Wagon and classy vintage Jantzen one piece swimsuit, the shoot was heavily inspired by the burgeoning Southern California surf scene of the late 50s/early 60s.

Fine art photograph printed on 21 mil, 340gsm cold press archival grade, acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright white, textured surface reminiscent of a traditional watercolor artist paper.
